The Liner Queen Mary`s last night in New York, was a night to remember..…and the life and soul of the party held on board, was Britain`s Foreign Secretary, Mr George Brown. Here here is attempting the `Frug`, a dance popular at that time in America. He claimed later to have "Enjoyed myself tremendously " Some weeks later he told the photographer that the picture "Might have cost me my job". The party, attended by most of New York`s society, marked the final transalantic voyage of the Queen Mary.
